The 2017 Annual Meeting of the Tennessee Prescribed Fire Council will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2016, at the Ellington Agriculture Center, Jones Auditorium, in Nashville, TN. 

The Tennessee Prescribed Fire Council (TNPFC) assembles those concerned about prescribed fire throughout the state into an organization to:

  • Enhance the ability to use prescribed fire as a land management tool;
  • Increase expertise in prescribed fire by sharing technical and scientific information;
  • Promote safety, training, and research in the art and science of prescribed fire;
  • Review prescribed fire practices, regulations, and policies, and promote improvement and;
  • Promote public education about the benefits of prescribed fire.​
