Loblolly pine (Pinus taeda L.) and shortleaf pine (Pinus echinata L.) are important to Arkansas’ forest landowners and forest industry. Management increases the benefits provided by pine stands by shortening rotation lengths, producing better quality products and improving wildlife habitat
